Review:
As expected, the HG 1/144 Gundam God is an easy model to build. But still I had a lot of fun building it. Most of the details are already covered by the stickers, including the black markings and panel lines. Of course I still added a few panel lines of my own. For armaments, the kit comes with a short and normal size beam saber. The beam saber handles are stored on the hips of the model. Even though those are the only weapons, the model compensates with it's feature. This is probably the HG that has the most number of hands. This includes a pair of god fingers, kung fu hands, closed fists and hands to hold the beam sabers. Take note that the Gundam God has another pair of hands that it could get from the HG 1/144 Gundam Nobell kit. Another unique feature of the model is the core fighter jet. Only a few gunpla has this kind of feature. It can attach and detach from the back of the model. It serves as the cockpit and wings of the Gundam God.

My favorite feature of the Gundam God is it has two modes. From normal mode, it changes to hyper mode. During hyper mode the wings spread, arm guard moves forward, ordinary hands turn into god fingers, back of the legs swings out and the chest opens up. You can choose the color of the sticker that you will put on the core of the chest. I pick red because it has more impact. This model had one of the best articulation in the HG scale. The arms and legs can easily in any position. Everything is secured in place place and you don't have to worry about any parts falling off from the model.

I was able to achieve all the posings I want from this model. On top of that, this model has great balance. Believe it or not, the Gundam God can stand on one leg despite it's bulky appearance. This model can do well in posing without the help from an action base. But you may still want to use an action base for flight mode poses.

I really enjoyed taking pictures of the Gundam God. Thanks to it's various set of hands, I was able to come up with a lot of different poses. My favorite would definitely be the king fu posings. I didn't find any flaws on this model. It exceeded my expectations and is perfect in every way.

Overall, this is one of the best HG I ever had in terms of articulation, details and posing. This is a highly recommended kit. You will never go wrong with model kits like this. If tou liked this kit, then you might also want to purchase the HG Nobell Gundam just to get it's extra hands. This concludes my review of the HG 1/144 - Gundam God. Thank you for viewing and I hope you find it useful. Look forward to my next gunpla review. Check out also my previous HG posts.
