God Gundam
Review:
This is part 1 of my model kit review for the HGFC 1/144 - Master Gundam and Fuunsaiki. I will first review the Fuunsaiki and make a part 2 post for the Master Gundam at a later date. As seen from the box and booklet, Fuunsaiki is a horse used by Master and G Gundam. Remember that Fuunsaiki is not just a model but also serve as an action base. Although it has four legs, it can't stand on it's own without the help of it's display stand. Fuunsaiki has only one armament which is the unicorn horn on it's head.
The Fuunsaiki doesn't have any polycaps. But it still has some articulation. The head, tail and legs are slightly movable. Around it's neck is a rubber handle used by Master Gundam to hold Fuunsaiki. It's color scheme is plain white, with the color red for it's head. There are also few stickers for the head, eyes and feet. But for me they are still not enough. So I added some gold and red markers for extra detail. The model also required a lot of panel lining.
Since this is a stationary model, I focused my photos on it's details and body parts. Which is why the only flaw I noticed on this model is the lack of movement and articulation. It could have atleast stand on it's own four legs. Despite it's liability, I still liked the model.
Overall, the Fuunsaiki is a great bonus to the Master Gundam considering it's a model and at the same time an action base as well. It really makes the kit worth buying. This concludes my review of the HG 1/144 - Fuunsaiki. Thank you for viewing and I hope you find it useful. Look forward to part 2 of my kit review for the Master Gundam.

Unbox: HGFC 1/144 - Master Gundam and Fuunsaiki
Expectation:
The box is big compared to a regular HG and the price is similar to a RG scale. Inside the box are 8 runners, stickers, a rubber rope, flyers, a cardboard and an instruction booklet. Yes, this kit uses a booklet rather than the usual manual. The rubber rope will obviously be used by the Master Gundam as a handle for the Fuunsaiki .
Since it's a two in one kit, the runners are divided into the Master Gundam and Fuunsaiki.
Aside from the usual contents, it also has a Gundam G designed cardboard that can be cut into two and be used as a background for the Action Base 3. There's also a small flyer that promotes the Gundam G series. Another great bonus item in the kit is the Master Gundam's pilot, Master Asia. Just by looking at these contents gives you an assurance that the model kit will give you lots of fun.
I'm expecting a lot from it's feature and articulation considering it's a martial artist just like the Gundam God. It may take some time for me to finish the model since it's a large kit. But I'll do my best to finish it as fast as I can. So look forward to my full review of the HG 1/144 - Master Gundam and Fuunsaiki.
