Gunpla Checklist: Gundam W (UPDATED 2017)

This is a gunpla checklist for the Gundam W series. I made this post to help those gunpla collectors in knowing how many model kits are there in the series and what models are available for each scale. This series first focused on the HG 1/100. But now their starting to get MG 1/100 scales to meet the demands of the fans.  As of now there are a total of 71 model kits for the Gundam W series. Overall, this is a great series to collect. It's very popular to the fans, especially the Gundam Wing Zero Custom. I will update the list when Bandai releases a new model kit.

Gunpla Tutorial: Decal Application (Dry Transfer)

"Dry Transfer" decals are sensitive to use compared to "Wet Slide" decals. Unlike in wet slide decals where you could easily position the decal in place, dry transfer decals are permanent. Meaning there's no turning back once you apply it. So here are some tips on how to do the dry transfer decal application.

It's important that you look first in the manual to make sure you have the right decal for the part you want to stick it in. Here, we'll make use of the 1/100 MG Strike Freedom's left shoulder as an example.

Next, cut the decal you want from the decal sheet using a design knife or scissors (whichever is comfortable for you).

Hold the decal using your fingers or tweezer and slowly apply it on the plastic part. Then press it firmly with your fingers.

We're almost done. Now get a coin and rub it against the decal. Make sure you rub it  as hard as you can so that there will be no leftovers.

Finished! Just peel off the plastic and you will see that the decal is now printed on the plastic part. As you can see dry transfer decal isn't that hard once you get the hang of it.
