[REVIEW] 1/10 Scale Kotobukiya Model Kit - Mega Man X

Review:

Sharing our review for the 1/10 Scale Kotobukiya Model Kit of Mega Man X. Unlike Gunpla, it doesn't have decals and pane lines so building this model is much faster. It comes with interchangeable hands and faces for different expressions. The X Buster can also be placed on either the left or right arm.

So far from our experience, Kotobukiya doesn't do well in the Mega Man series model kit in terms of stability when it comes to articulation. The arms and legs does move, but they easily fall off when replacing the hands or moving the joints. You need to be extra careful when posing the model.

However, the model kit does compensate with its details and accessories. I really like the blast effect part because it gives the impact feeling when Mega Man X is displayed in a shooting position.

Overall, I enjoyed the experience of building this model kit. I love the Mega Man X series and looking forward for more, especially his Full Armor version. I'm just hoping that there will be improvements as far as the articulation is concerned.

[UPDATE] Moving Life-size 1/1 RX-78-2 Gundam is now Complete

It's the dream of every Gundam fan to see an actual moving life size Gundam and it finally came real with the project of Gundam Yokohama Factory. They were able to create not just a moving life size RX-78-2 Gundam, but an accurate one from inside out. It is an exact reference to the Gundam plastic model where everything is well detailed from the inner frame, cockpit, articulation, panel lining and decals. Makes you wonder on the things it might do.

Actual opening to the general public will be on Oct.1, 2020. So look forward to more details and features as we near the opening date.
