Review: RG 1/144 Freedom Gundam (Full Burst Mode) with Effect Parts

After doing a full review on the RG 1/144 Freedom Gundam, I'll now show you it's Full Burst Mode with effect parts. I was lucky enough to find a kit that include the effect parts because some kits doesn't have it and needs to be purchase separately. Basically, these parts are beam effects that you put on the long range weapons of the Freedom. There are 5 effect parts: 1 for the Beam Rifle, 2 for the Rail Cannons and 2 for the Plasma Beam Cannons. They are different in sizes and colors. Some of the effect parts maybe bended. So you may want to straighten them out first before putting them on the weapons.

I immediately had weight issues after putting the effect parts. No matter what I do I can't make the Freedom lift the Beam Rifle properly while the effect part is attached. It will just drop slowly every time I try to raise it. The Plasma Beam Cannons also has the tendency to drop depending on it's positioning. It's a good thing the Rail Cannons was able to hold it's effect parts in place and maintain a straight angle.

Overall, the effect parts would be perfect on the Full Burst Mode if you could solve it's weight problems. But setting that aside, the details on it are great. Now all it needs is a diorama to make it more awesome. So if you already have a RG Freedom Gundam or planning to get one, make sure to have it's effect parts as well. I'm wishing that all RG models would have effect parts added on them.
