Review:
Gundam FX isn't that hard to finish, but it took me a while to make it's  review due to my busy schedule. This model kit has some great features. Like the Burning Gundam, the FX also has a core fighter that inserts to the back of the model. As expected no beam saber is included in the kit. But he doesn't need it anymore since he already has 14 C-Funnels around him. These funnels remind me of the sword bits from the 00 Qant. Except they are attached to different parts of his body and are scattered during full burst mode.

The fun part is you could play around with the funnels and place them in any way you want. An example is placing a funnel in the wrist to make it look like a beam katar. Just watch out because some of the funnels fall off easily, especially on the shoulder part. The kit came with a lot of stickers and most of these are for covering the funnels. Very resourceful if you ask me.

Aside from thre C-Funnels, the FX also has the Stungle Rifle for it's main weapon. By putting additional parts, it transforms into the Daidal Bazooka. This bazooka will cause some weight issue on the arm. So it needs to be held with both hands. The FX comes with 5 inter-changeable hands. 2 closed fists, 2 gripping hands and 1 open left hand. The model has it's own special display stand where you could store 3 of his hands underneath it. There's also an extra clear stand for the C-Funnels to be used for full burst mode. Amazing as it sound, the ring holding the C-Funnels isn't secured in place and falls off easily. Which is irritating because it causes the C-Funnels to drop as well.

Articulation is good except for the waist and neck. The joint connecting the legs to the waist is loose. It doesn't fall off but it wriggles easily which affects the balance of the model. The ball joint connecting the head to the body is a bit loose as well. It stays in place but comes off easily if not held properly. So you really need to be careful in moving the neck and waist.

Overall, I'm a little disappointed with the FX. The features are great but the loose parts are irritating. It should have been a perfect model if it weren't for the major flaws. But I'll still give the the FX a high score for it's unique kit content. It's not so often you'll get a gundam model with a special display stand, core fighter and funnels. I like seeing the FX on display but I'm afraid to move it because some of the funnels might fall off. So I'm  hesitant to recommend this model. But hopefully my review gave you an idea on what it's worth. Well that's about it for the HG 1/144 - Gundam AGE FX. Thanks for viewing and look out for more gunpla reviews.
