[Review] 1/10 Scale Kotobukiya Model Kit - Protoman / Blues

Review:
The box says Blues, but fans better knows him as Protoman, the brother of Megaman. This model kit is better than what I expected. Building it is almost the same as Megaman, except it's color red. The details are already great and we just added some green markers on the bottom of the boots and at the back of the helmet. Instead of a face swap, you get to replace his mouth with 3 expressions: flat affect, smiling and angry. It's a bit tricky to change his mouth because you need to push it and slide it off from the helmet, so we just made use of his angry expression. For accessories, the model kit comes with his Shield, E Tank, Buster and beam effects. The Buster can replace either his left or right arm. His arm also comes with a replaceable pair of closed fists, open hands and a hand to hold the Shield. I like the idea that the Shield has a peg that allows it to be easily gripped by the hand and can also be attached at the back of the scarf for storage. The scarf also has its own peg for moving it.

Articulation is enough to make his cool poses. Although, the arms and legs are not tightly fit where it detaches easily when posing the model. I'm not sure if this is common for Kotobukiya kits since I've also experienced the same issue with the Megaman and Rockman Zero model. But it's a minor issue for Protoman since I was still able to make the poses I wanted. Overall, this model kit is a must have if your a fan of the Megaman series.
