We started at around 12 PM - 3 PM. It was crowded & took us long hours of just roaming around the booths but it was fun to see new stuff. It's good to know that we can still negotiate for a cheap price even on the first day. Remember, it's not enough to go around once. You really have to go back again because sometimes they'll display a new one or you'll even find a cheaper one & better.
There's also snacks being given away for free. (You can only get two actually). There's even an area for you to eat lunch or have a snack so you don't have to leave the place.
The last hall is where the stage is. During that time, there's a Superhero Trivia going on. The toy display museum is close this time unlike when we usually attend Day 3.
There are so many new toys, collectibles & figures that you can only find on Day 1 so make sure you have enough budget. That's why it's better to save up for the next year ToyCon.
It was announced here that ToyCon will be moved to SMX Mall of Asia next year on June 11 - 12, 2016. That's going to be a big adjustment for us because of the location & probably there's a chance that the ticket will be higher (Php150 is charge here in Megamall). But there's still time for us to save up for it & this won't stop us from going.
