Review:
We've been collecting Monster Hunter figures for quite some time now. But this is our first time trying out the Stone Model series. I admit that I was surprise with how wonderful the details are despite having a plain color. They look like gargoyles or fossilized monsters. Another difference from the regular series would be the base. It is much larger and has their Japanese name engraved on it. One similarity it has with the PLUS series is it also has an extra monster. But instead of a clear version monster, the bonus is the stone version of Jhen Mohran. He is so huge that it makes him larger than the base he is standing on. Aside from him, all the other monsters are composed of elder dragons: Kushala Daora, Teostra, Shagaru Magala, Amatsu, Chameleos and Kirin.
Overall, this Stone Model series is special on it's own. Even though I already have some of these monsters in their colored version, I still believe this is worth collecting because of their unique appearance. I'm hoping that more volumes of this series will come out as I will definitely collect them as well.
